Now we're getting into the good stuff. I saw The Feelgoods back in the day at The Charlotte in Leicester, and always drop in on their latest incarnation when they swing by at the Musician. A couple of years ago I finally got to see Wilko, post death sentence. It was so joyous because everyone present had previously come to terms with the notion that he wasn't going to be around. Wilko and Norman ripping it up with all the knobs set to 11. Sadly no decent footage made it to Youtube, so here they are at the Picturedome in 2013.
Oh - and someone in the audience made her cry - actual tears. But in a good way. During a bit of between songs talk about strong women, following this track
when she was saying something about however rubbish things are you have to to have hope, someone told them the results of the exit poll in Ireland which was greeted with cheers all round.
