This was often a Sunday morning listen when I was flat-sharing in St.Reatham in the mid 70s before repairing to the boozer for a session of drinking and darts, and occasionally since then in married life. A gentle song which brings back fond memories, and which I solemnly promise to play more often.
Live performance of Down by the River by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. I prefer the longer (9:13) version off Everybody Knows This is Nowhere, but what the hell, this is an early live version, and possibly more, er, approachable.
Naaa. Sorry only Simon+Garfunkel can pull this off. I really want to like Elvis but he really did become a parody of himself. I can't watch him without seeing every Elvis impersonator there is.
