Times change and many songs whose lyrics didn't raise an eyebrow when they were released (Although they are still played) would be greeted with outcry if they came out now. This one would touch a few nerves post Savile -

The 50s and 60s are full of songs about older men lusting after teens on the cusp of adulthood, though to fair to Chuck, this one could simply be about the excitement of being a teenager ... can't think of a better example right now

I can see that you're fifteen years old
    No I don't want your I.D.
And I've seen that you're so far from home
    But it's no hanging matter
    It's no capital crime

Young girl, get out of my mind
My love for you is way out of line
    Better run girl
    You're much too young girl
With all the charms of a woman
You've kept the secret of your youth
You led me to believe you're old enough
    To give me love
And now it hurts to know the truth
Young girl, get out of my mind
My love for you is way out of line
    Better run girl
    You're much too young girl
Beneath your perfume and your make-up
You're just a baby in disguise
And though you know that it's wrong to be
    Alone with me
That come on look is in your eyes
Young girl, get out my mind
My love for you is way out of line
    Better run girl
    You're much too young girl
So hurry home to your mama
I'm sure she wonders where you are
    Get out of here
    Before I have the time
    To change my mind
'Cause I'm afraid we'll go too far
Young girl, get out my mind
My love for you is way out of line
    Better run girl
You're much too young girl (repeat to fade)

Ooh, my little pretty one, my pretty one
When you gonna give me some time, Sharona
Ooh, you make my motor run, my motor run
Got it coming off o' the line, Sharona
Never gonna stop, give it up, such a dirty mind
I always get it up, for the touch of the younger kind
    My, my, my, aye-aye, whoa!

Ban or censor poetry as well? ( this one does make me very uneasy).

    annie died the other day
never was there such a lay -
    whom, among her dollies, dad
    first ('don't tell your mother') had;
    making annie slightly bad
    but very wonderful in bed
    - saints and satyrs, go your way
youths and maidens: let us pray
