And a favourite instrumental of mine

And mine too
I often eulogise Brian Setzer, as very under-rated guitarist, sadly Dave Edmunds also qualifies too
Plus he's an excellent producer/song-writer/singer
(Springsteen thought enough of him, to let him record a song he'd written - before Bruce himself
('From Small Things')

He once recorded/produced, what was practically a Phil Spector style album; 'Subtle As A Flying Mallet'

I know this is heading away from the thread, btu just listen to the styling/production, that's almost Spectors 'Wall of Sound'
[/QUOTE]

One of my favourite albums is Dave Edmunds The Many Sides Of and its got both these songs on it, as you say two excellent tracks, and I can hear the similarity to the wall of sound on Born To Be With You

Some of mine are;
(3 from 'Twangin') John Fogartys 'Almost Saturday Night', 'Baby Let's Play House' & (George Jones) 'The Race is On' (with The Stray Cats)

And, of course, his duet on 'Baby Ride Easy' with Carlene Carter-Cash:okay:

Then, jumping a few years, his 'King of Love' on Closer To The Flame' is interesting, with its 2 drummers (seen @ 0.54

Cletus Van Damme

Previously known as Cheesney Hawks
Nice to see young people not into shite music for a change. A few string bends off, but really good work.

The only Maiden song I like. The guitar work is really good in this.
