I'm heading into Fenchurch Sreet but not sure what time yet....
When I know times I could message you and maybe meet by The Tower..... will probably cross river at Southwark Bridge and head West and Back over Westminster Bridge.... unless anyone knows a betterer Route
Nigel.

I'll be meeting Tigerbiten at Liverpool Street. I can pick you up from Fenchurch Street (probably best before Liverpool Street) if you like. All depends on train times, of course.

I do that bit of the Embankment every day on my way home from work. Big road but perfectly fine for cycling. You turn right at Embankment station, which means you have Trafalgar Sq which is a lot easier than Parliament Sq. Then it is plain sailing down the Mall and up to HPC.

Thanks that looks a lot better than heading South of the River...( No offence meant to the Southern Posse)....

Don't forget that the Olympic clock is now installed in Trafalgar Square - for those that have 'time on their hands'.
(It's a bit useless early in the morning as the alarm feature only has five rings... )

Lisa and Bart go for seconds... what a dreary bloody ornament. I'm sure I will be impressed close up - as I'm easily pleased.

A splendrous crew! And we have our 5th Dan!

I'll be starting the Bognor list soon, but we've already got 24 signed up. Mark is going to have to do the loaves and fishes thing at the Cabin Cafe!

I've spoken to the bods at Adventure Island and they're happy for us to chain our bikes to their railings (the ones on the northern side of the Esplanade having gone). The park doesn't open until 11 and we'll be well gone by then.

fair play. I suppose the later departures will have to move their bikes to the north side...

XCWeather has changed its tune twice today - but the earlier predictions of rain on Friday have gone away.

I've decided to organise the bit from Shenfield to Stock. There are fifteen wayfinding points in under eight miles (including the EmCee at the Ford.) Hold yourself in readiness...........

Well possibly. We have been known to hang around a bit for a few bevvies, and occasionally that may have been later than 11am ...

Really? I've never noticed.

I'm planning to try and coax people into a few jars back in town instead, as it happens, cos I need to meet up with a couple of non-FNRttC folks. Not that anyone does what I ask - I usually try to introduce a note of moderation into the proceedings, and do they listen??
