Oh Simon, you do know that all cutting edge style is all about carrying off the unfathomable!

still at 108....I've informed Stock Village Hall and the Rose

I was hoping for an appearance of a prototype "The Fridays" jersey.

Yeh, Tim - hopefully it will have improved from that naff old red, green and black jobbie...

if it's in wool then it has to be in a dark colour - the muck thrown up off the road will never come out, even if your granny handwashes it using those big blocks of soap and a wooden washboard.

As for daytime running, all I can say is that it's shapes that people see as much as colour. Horizontal bands, sharp edges, geometric patterns, all good.

Although I don't have Andrij's siderophobia, I think the jersey would be better in white rather than black. As in opposites - night = day.

He's happy to talk to you and me Adam - what on earth can you mean?

It might be better in French, not Italian, too. And nothing reflective but the mind within... and, thinking aloud as one does, a massive moon and a black jersey... might just get you 'nicked' by an observant gendarme.

I did draw a crescent moon, thinking it would be appropriate. And then I drew a circle, which was nice, but not as nice and not as distinctive as the star.

To be honest I was thinking more of a ride such as the one we anticipate on Friday, with a clear sky, and stars by the thousand, inspired, in part, by Adrian's phone with it's application that identifies stars and planets for you.

Then again, all those Egyptian flags had something to do with it. Along with the shirt matching my bike, which is purely selfish.
