A fine looking bunch.

Has Dominic O swapped to Dominic A, as he can?

(brain fade moment) Very fast racing lady, breaks chains, skates. Can't recall her name for love nor money. Top stuff at marking junctions then absolutely whizzing to the front. Anyway, is she going?

And William F, is that William of Southwark Cyclists? Last seen getting drenched following the Old Cars?

And if you need more, put me down for TEC duties.

I'm a bit puzzled by the O and the A business. And Tanya, but no, she's not. And it's William C, but very possibly of Southwark Cyclists. And, yes, after that, you'd better do a stint at the business end.....

Father's surname not the same as mother's. Easy.

Tanya, that's the one.

C, F . It's been a long day. But yes, very good to see him.

Having found my other VAR tyre lever, and bought a new box of latex gloves, I'm all set.

TECs from Hyde Park Corner, if I may presume

Tim H, Graham H, Chris B

Frankly, if I was a bit of glass, waiting, waiting, waiting, I'd think twice about messing with those three.....

thankyou, by the way, for not cackling over my 'August' slip, but congratulations to the two people who wrote back, only one of whom I'm married to. We'll see how she does at the safety talk......

Any mid range suggestion welcomed - I do not want to spend £250 plus on Exposure lights.
I've decided to make do for the ride but check out the kit other folks are using. Hopefully with a clear midsummer night the lights won't be too much of an issue.

The Ninewt light looks interesting, with the usb charge option. If anyone has one I'll be picking their brains.

@Dellzeg: I've dropped off the list!

Any clue what time our eta will be for Cabin Cafe, Faygate and at Felpham. I may need to bail somewhere south of the 'Sham as my club has put out an 'all hands to the pumps' plea for marshalls for an Open TT on Saturday morning. Need to be back at the 'Sham HQ for 06:00 am.

Well, a couple of Titusii. When you look over Arundel Castle from Burpham the view will be the one that inspired Mr Peake in his detail of Gormenghast Castle. The man himself is resident in the local graveyard.

Faygate - between 3.25 (clear night, minimal punctures, no wind) and 4.00 (last November, 20mm of rain, four punctures). Felpham about 8.00 to 8.30

Having long heard whispers of a strange, nocturnal community that emerges at midnight and cycles through the night, to sink into the sea at dawn, I have now discovered that you inhabit a virtual world called Cycle Chat. Unlike the masons, this brother/sisterhood seems self-selecting, though there is a rite of initiation, overseen by the revered and mighty Delzeqq, to whom you commit your soul, in return for treasures undreamt of in the daylight world.

Unto Thee, O Delzeqq, I entrust my soul and undertake to arm myself with innertubes, if you will accept me as a neophyte on your mid-summer solstice descent on Felpham.

May my prayer be answered.
