What's up with Al? The trauma of the IoW still fresh(water)?

I came close to being added to the DNS list on Saturday after totalling during an ice-skating lesson (any sport with lycra - I'm there! . Bruised knee and elbow, but intensive physio (rubbing elbow and doing 'ssssswwwwowww' whenever the Doris asks me to do something) will see me right for the 25th.
