If there is a place available, I'd like to come. It will be my first FNRTTC.

Mark.
Mark - you'll have to be very quick. Take a look at the blog http://fnrttc.blogspot.com/ click on the frames, read 'the basics' and the questions page, and send me an e-mail on fnrttc@yahoo.co.uk with your mobile number, your CTC number if you have one, and confirmation that you've read and understood 'the basics'

I hadn't realised it was a gay shirt until somebody told me that, inbetween the sprigs of flowers, were lots of pictures of young men dropping their keks

AC/TC?

I thought you had been flour bombed by Arthur Spurr or whatever his name is...

It's from the Tom of Finland summer range. It's quite conservative compared to their cycling gear...

Hurrah for recognition of Simon's organising most excellent rides! I'm sure I'm not alone in FNRttCs being my introduction to long-distance, they've encouraged me to do all sorts of new things by bike and I think they're marvellous.

I'm now even more gutted I won't be there on Friday.

I'm a little shamefaced about the award - it's more than likely that I was nominated to make a point to the powers that be.

I thought that Kevin was generosity itself, but, as you saw if you were there, I was a tad embarrassed.

I thought that was because of the shirt.

Whatever the motive behind the nomination, you deserve recognition for organising one of the best rides out there.
