Hang on a minute! I have volunteered for marshalling and didn't realise I'd actually have to do anything.............for four hours.....

you're in Team User10571. You'll probably be standing at a junction for less than half an hour! And then you'll become what will henceforth and for ever more be called an 'Embedded Rider'. Or a 'Rider in Bed'.

Excellent. This ride has taken a turn for the better. I'll wear clean undies.

Not doing the Dun Run now Ian, or are you going for the double header?

Just the Brighton run boyo... just really can't be arsed with the Dun Run to be honest. It just doesn't appeal to me. Even with Her Welshness' hubby's gracious offer of a lift home after.

Much rather be within the comfort zone of the FNRttC.

Let's all go for a mad double header. Brighton and back, Dunwich and back, sleep for 5 days!!

I'm planning to do it. If you compare it to a 600km audax, it's slightly shorter and you get a bit more sleep.

Great plan, I've just weighed that up against my original plan of doing the Brighton ride, getting 'merry' in Brighton then arriving home sometime on the Saturday evening, sleeping through to Sunday morning and then having a gentle recovery ride followed by the day with the family, and maybe a couple more beers.

Obviously when I say, great plan, I actually mean a totally dippy batshit idea

This year, seriously both rides both ways? I tend to get back from Brighton around 1-2pm (Andy, don't say a word). What time would I need to be at the start for Dunwich?
