It's rather amusing that the event rules insist on "HELMETS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES" .... whilst making no mention of needing to have a roadworthy bike. So presumably its fine to have a bike with no working brakes! (But, please, not anywhere near me, thank you!)
