 Oh alright then. Prays for a dry night .
Well, if Wanda's up for SS, then I suppose I should too. How far is this ride anyway?

50% extra mudguards free!
Just heard back from the ferryman who says a trike will not be a problem.
However, something you might wish to give consideration to is access to the boat.
Mice has posted a picture on, I think, the second page of this thread of me shouldering my bike while I negotiate the steep and narrow access to the landing stage, using my free hand to hold on to the handrail and prevent myself from falling into the water. Which, at this time of year, is thick with anacondas. There may be a lie or traces of lie in the last sentence. I think you'd probably need a brace of able-bodies fore and aft (did you see what I did there?) and carry the Trice listing to starboard on account of the narrowness. Egress on the Wallasey Island side is less arduous

it's £2 for trikes and £1 for bikes. Seems fair to me......

Third crossing agreed. We've already got 26, so I'll be looking for another ten or so.

I'm planning on being different and just cycling home after breakfast number 1. If you need to make up numbers to persuade the ferry to do a third crossing let me know.

I know, but maybe something that claims to be waterproof will truly turn out to be so, keep the faith dude.
Never going to happen. There's always a design fault: with waterproof socks, there's a hole at the top. With gloves, a hole at the wrist. Water will always get in.

I think the slope depends on the water level, and we are probably fortunate in that the high tide is 5.42M about an hour after we cross. I've assured Gary that we'll organise ourselves - he wants to do a complete out and back in quarter of an hour.

Novelty Night!
Howsabout SS, Benders, Bent or just anything other than what you you usually ride (and wear) on a FNRttC? Maybe something suitable for the weekend going boating?
