Congratulations, User482! Enjoy your anniversary dinner!

Mr Yoyo is having medium rare steak with stir fried onions and mushrooms and salads from Waitrose followed by chocolate eclairs. I don't eat in the evenings but I may manage an eclair.

Thanks all. It was actually our anniversary last week - on the same day as my parents' 40th. So we haven't had a chance to celebrate on our own yet.

Either, beans on toast with cheese on top, or tomato soup(would have to be tinned stuff:sad:) or hot dogs in cobs. Not decided yet.

Try putting the cheese under the beans Joe, beats User482' tea hands down ;)

Probably just gonna order a take away curry and add a few things from the fridge. Pakora for starters with Popadoms, salad, chilli sauce and spiced onions. Followed by Chicken Jaipuri and Tarka Daal, a Garlic or Peshwari nan and some Pilau rice. All for a tenner.

I can never be arsed making anything on a Friday.

It was all going so well til someone mentioned the marmite

I'd go with longers suggestion of beans onto the cheese  And stir some cheese into the beans as well just before serving and give it a quick stir - lovely jubbly.
