Grey and unassuming over in the capital; looks like we'll navigate next week's heatwave from beneath the shelter of a cloud.

There's a few DIY/home maintenance tasks that need addressing which I'll regret leaving until really good weather.

Coffee will be a constant companion.

From a cool and overcast North Yorkshire, the crap weather seems to be following me around.
Hoping for a more chilled day than yesterday. Drove home from Scotland first thing. Once every thing was unpacked I went and walked Bertie only to get a call from Mrs W saying could rush home as she had tripped and banged her head while cutting the lawn. So 5 hours at Scarborough A&E and one CT scan later she gets the all clear although with a huge bump on the back of her head. 5 weeks working on the building site that is daughters new house to come and injury herself falling over the mower cable.
As we left before breakfast and then didn’t get to eat till 10:00 pm and only a sandwich I‘m under a 11 stone for the first time in years.
I’m sure I can sort that out today.🍷🍻🍕🍟🍰

Good sleep after yesterdays communt and apple based rehydration. Like Webbo I'll be working on getting back over 11 stone this evening 🙂 Bit of number torturing and an AI course to get through in the meantime.

Afternoon, wow people have been busy. 🤭. 5hrs in A&E sounds like you dodged a bullet, 5hrs is quite good tbh. Hope Mrs W is OK. As to this under 11stone malarkey, I wish. Still at 13 but very slowly dropping off.

Pffft.... under 11 st? I'm allegedly on the thin side of healthy at the moment, but still mid 11s. Trying to put some weight back *on* in the form of some muscle, but this requires some rather undignified efforts in - horrors! - a gym.

Trying to get back to a somewhat normal routine, sorting out the house and dealing with all the dreary estate admin tasks. Meetings with lawyers have never been high on my list of fun things to do, but needs must.

Been damned cold too, after such a long and mild autumn.

The mower is fine as I found when I finished the mowing this morning. Only to get a bollocking for waking someone up. I should stick to my normal routine doing as little as possible in the garden.
