I could never do that. I get in a panic walking on thick carpet.

Watching that height of courage video - I was absolutely fine, I'd do that. Then he got out of the caged bit and started free climbing and my legs went to jelly - and I'm sitting down! I've jumped out of an aeroplane more than a dozen times but didn't like that.

The HSE mardi cow in my office would pis# her pants if she had to do a method statement for that
method statement would be easy. the risk assesment would be the one that would make most who don't understand work at height pee emselves.
I enjoyed working on the Overhead lines in my younger years . mast climbers are incredibly fit .

how did you get the HSE to work in your office ?

I've also, once, been up a TV mast, and electricity pylons a bit more often. I'm not wonderful with heights, but the knowledge that you are firmly attached with a safety harness makes a big psychological difference. I find Crib Goch or Tryfan, or the glass floors you get in some buildings like the CN Tower in Toronto, or looking down an olympic ski jump (strictly as a tourist), harder.
