Packing for holidays. Booked a house on the Tyne - next to a bridge, 150yds from a pub in a small village near Hadrian's wall. How good is that?
The wall never did stop the English getting in to Scotland, so I don't know why it was built.

Nice warm ride into town this morning, which doubles up as a nice warm up for a charity (static) bike fund raiser in the office - think I have a chance of winning the 'longest distance covered in 10 mins' looking at the state of the competition Ride back this evening likely to be a bit of a sweat fest. And have a bit of work to do in between...

Up at 3 to take DD2 to the station for her Swiss Scout soujourn.

Currently at the top of Ben Macdui where it's clear still and scorchio. Might need a turbo nap before moving onto the 2nd mountain.

Visit to the vets done and Bertie got to meet Peter the Yorkshire vet off the telly. He enjoyed being fussed by him but I think he preferred the other vet who gave him a treat.
