Does anyone happen to have the elevation profile of the Manchester to Blackpool to compair to the Manc 100 ?

This is what my Garmin recorded for the Manchester to Blackpool (about 6 miles near the end are lost, sorry). I think there is a previous post in this thread for the Manc 100.

Here is the same data in metric, so you can compare with the post from ColinJ

Seems that the Manchester to Blackpool peaked at just over 150m from starting at about 40m. Then dropped to finish as sea level!

The Manchester 100, starts at about 30m and peaks at around 100 and then finises at 30m. But there are more ups and downs.

Thanks mate, Much appreciated

Congrats gaz.

Did it in 5hrs 45. finished nearly dead on 2.30 in Blackpool. Strangely enjoyed the drag up to Haigh Hall. The head wind from Freckleton to Blackpool was a bitch. I have it that direction nearly every day on the way into work but after 50 miles it nearly finished me off.

Don't know if anyone saw the the paraplegic guy with the hand bike? He was really struggling on the last hill (Carr Lane, out of Treales to Kirkham). He was rolling back at one point but was determined to get up it himself and did. Put my aching legs into perspective.

Nice TIme

Yeah the only bit was as we passed that Train station, It got a little narrow, I hear my phone and jumped off, Was upset incase people thought I was getting off as I was struggling, as you say it wasnt that bad, Now that 20% hill at the junction where you turned right (there were marshalls stopping peeps) now that was a real B1TCH

Yeah thats deffo going to put it into perspective.
