"One True Saxon" is the make. I don't know if that's a middle class manufacturer,but they cost me 90 quid years ago,so that's middle class to me!

I don't know about middle class, but it sounds like rip off pricing to me, even Rohan Chinos ( which I will only buy discounted or in a sale) are cheaper.
