Front carrier

I am hoping to get a Dawes Horizon Plus touring bike my Question is is it possible to transfer the front carrier from my Karakum to the Horizon Plus or just buy another carrier ?

I'd imagine both being in the Dawes touring range they have very similar front forks so would probably fit. Why do you want to switch to another tourer from the Karakum though?

Loking atthe images on the Dawes site, both have the twin bosses so the rack should interchange
