Suprised that people go for hope vision ones when DX can do lights for a quarter of the price with the same sort lumen rating 2 of them and you will be fine

There is an endless list of lights/torches much brighter than the Hopes. One could cobble together plenty of things but there is the problem of securing many of them to the bike. The mount is one of the top reasons I bought it, not just it's output.

I very rarely run my Hopes above the second power setting which is more than adequate for night riding and lasts for about 8 hours. Does the DealExtreme last as long, or have as broad a spread of light as a Hope, and does it have a flash setting?

Just to say the Hope ran really well on the FNRttC all through the night and is just fine on the second power setting.

I can vouch for the mounting too. Easy to fit and stayed firm throughout.
