Just wondering on peoples opinion on this subject. The basic sus fork on my Toxy TT seems to do a reasonable job but has no lockout for going up hill.

Having said that Ive never ridden a rigid front end 'bent either so maybe the perceived softer ride is not as much of a benefit as it is on a DF bike?

Personally, I'd rather fit a more forgiving tyre, and save on the added weight/complexities of having suspension up front. I owned a f/s Rainbow Lyner, and found no real comfort advantage over the plain forked Strada/Baron/Raptobike.
