I know it was pretty cold this morning when the rear brake froze stiff on my hybrid. Twenty minutes at a foggy minus four, and it locked solid.
I've had the gears freeze before, and quite often the water bottle. But the brakes? Solution with the gears was to put plenty of oil and WD40 inside the sheath. Looks like I need to do the same with my brakes, unless there is another solution?
Unfortunately there is no conceivable solution to stop the water bottle freezing though ........
