Take plenty fuel with you, fine for a few weeks, ive carried fuel for a month before.

I carry a handful of wood based cat litter in case of no dry wood handy for my small kelly kettle.

ah I have one of those £10 or so wood burner things you see on Ebay and also use the wooden pellet cat litter. I originally bought the pack to fill some loud speaker hollow stands to deaden them ringing but had lots left. I also carry some wood shavings ie hamster bedding to start the fire off and now carry one of those cheapo butane or what ever lighters to light it all
