Fun, free cycling event in York, Saturday 27th March

10am til 3.30pm, Danesgate Skills Centre, Fulford Cross (opposite Steiner School). Essentially a wide range of bikes for children and adults to have a go on, ranging from KMX recumbent carts, trikes, kid carriers, eccentric wheeled bike, tandems, 4-seater mega-bike, penny farthing (not full sized!) etc. Suitable for children of all ages. Bike basket decorating, bike raffle (free entry, for a bike and accessories of your choice up to value of £500 from Fulford Cycles).

Two events were held in York over the weekend just gone but were pitifully attended due to very poor publicity.

Just thought I'd spread the word; wasn't sure which forum to put it in but figured it'd get moved if this wasn't the right place!

Well, I'm over in York that weekend on a Folder weekend but I don't know where we're going on the Saturday. We might not be back before it finishes.

Blimey , it all happens in York don't it? I really must visit the place one day , I've heard it's well worth a visit.
