Maybe the people who began to question his illness and label him a lier, can hang their heads in shame ... RIP young man ... rather than show a sad face I guess a round of applause is more suited to this remarkable young man
I have the utmost respect for such a brave young man, however I can't help feeling there was some 'bandwagon' jumping from a few people, sorry to be negative but that is how some people came across.

People reacted in the same way to Jane Tomlinson, she had terminal cancer but chose to run and cycle to raise money. Some thought she was 'putting it on' because they didn't believe she could do what she did if she really was ill, both she and Stephen were fighters who selflessly gave up their precious time to help others despite being ill themselves. Cheers
Exceptional young person...I've followed his story for a few months.
Even though I knew from his family's post yesterday, that Stephen didn't have very long left, I was so sad to read that he had died.
I hope they can take comfort in knowing what an absolutely beautiful soul they raised.
