And another two here...
Both had iphone 4s, good phone, but we both swapped over to the Galaxy S3, does everything you want it to but with less fuss...and you dont need bloody itunes and all its jiggerypokery.
6 months for the wife, about 3 months fopr me on the S3. no problems with memory cards.
With Broad-Band access, no less!No one's mentioned the hands free kit necessary for phone use while driving.

Nexus 4 for me,great phone IMO.
Just to be different buy the phone you want with a payg sim that can run on the 02 network and get a giff gaff sim.
Overall it should work out a lot cheaper than a contract phone.

Some one at work whos more into it told me that overall you make a saving when taking into account the total cost of the phone and network costs which the contract obviously takes into account because they never really give you a "free" phone as the costs are loaded in there somewhere.Quite like this idea, but it's quite a expensive to buy a new phone innit?
I bought a good Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray on eBay for £70. It's a small but nifty Android smartphone but they do not hold their price as well as more popular bigger phones so you can find them cheap. For example, this one might be worth a punt?Quite like this idea, but it's quite a expensive to buy a new phone innit?

It is a great size for carrying in a pocket when cycling or walking. The screen quality is really good but it is small so you need reasonable eyesight and it is best to use a stylus on the touchscreen unless you have tiny fingers.
I am another happy giffgaff customer.
