Looking for a way to hold my Galaxy note 3 while cycling and saw this one

Was wondering if anyone has used this case and any better way to hold my phone?

The only issue is I'd like to use it as a GPS on some days (today would have been useful). Quadlock would have been great but don't do one for a note 3 :/

I've got a running belt from sports direct that I wear under my jacket. Keeps my phone and car / house keys safe. It's a very bulky phone to perch on the bars.

Fits in my pockets fine, never had an issue over its size apart from the lack of cycling accessories for it

I used the S3 until recently and it worked fine with this, though I wouldn't want to trust it in a torrential downpour. I also have the Ultimate Addons S3 case which I WOULD trust.

I cracked my screen and upgraded phone. I now have a Note 3. It does not fit in the frame top bag - well, not with its case on. I'll try without in a sec. EDIT - bless my soul it does fit without the case on. My frame top bag isn't quite the same as yours. It's a ROSWHEEL.

Ultimate Addons do a case sized for the Note 3, but it's the zip up squishy thing.

I had one and loved it, but had to get rid of it as it was too big and took up so much room in pocket. Ended up putting it in a bum bag but in the end that got annoying too. Didn't want to mount it on handlebars or tube as it would look like a bloody flat screen tv on there. Top phone tho

Personally I love the Note 3. Yes it's big, never bothered me. Battery life is good and I use it for navigating both in the car and on the bike. ViewRanger is my software of choice. I use Tasker to automate turning stuff off like wifi and mobile data when cycling, makes battery last better.

Btw, I played with different cases as is my wont and can highly recommend the Seidio Dilex. Not too bulky, good protection, kickstand and looks good.

I have barely used examples of Spigen Neo Yellow and Spigen Armor View. They'll go on the bay soon.

Yeah if the Experia Z2 had been out I might have gone for it. Note 3 was £200 cheaper though and the specs are almost identical. I do like the Note 3.

Before I had my note 3 I mounted my HTC using an old light mount, a 50p eBay case and some glue which worked a treat! But since then I've bought a garmin as the note just was too big for the handlebars and the temptation to watch a movie on a big ride was too much. Anyone else thought to watch a movie on their longer rides?
