Many apologies for my dodgy clue, checking, it's actually south Northamptonshire, which should make it a bit easier
Pretty sure you’ve posted it before. Luckily things to do or I’d be down the rabbit hole looking.

I actually drew the border of Oxfordshire on my digital OS map and searched methodically. After the 3rd search I thought to myself that you can't have been quite so careful with your county borders and maybe it was nearer to Rugby!!Many apologies for my dodgy clue, checking, it's actually south Northamptonshire, which should make it a bit easier
Well done. It's a road with no name, at Marston St Lawrence, Northants:

Well done.
That was doing my head in. What does my head in even more is that I scrolled my digital OS map over that numerous times but somehow didn't spot it!
I think that was my problem. I had checked other bodies of water which turned out to be just small ponds so I was looking for something much bigger.same here... exactly that area but i guess i was looking for a larger body of water
I was standing in one county, but most of what can be seen is in another. Neither is Gloucestershire...I'm thinking that looks like Birdlip hill, but I can't find the road with that view.

I was going to add that the hill on the left gives it's name to an establishment producing alcoholic liquor which is not readily visible, but is situated in front of the tree-topped high ground in the centre of the picture. You can't tempt me with your juicy clues. I am NOT wasting my time messing around in Google Maps.
Definitely absolutely not.
