That was a much easier find... the sun is shining from the left so likely facing west. The contrails have to be transatlantic so either coming from London's airports, Manchester or Glasgow/Edinburgh... and the big ship helped me skip a lot of areas.

I started up north headed down the west coast checking a few likely peninsulas on the way and ended up in south wales right around here. We're looking at Skomer Island on the Pembrokeshire Coast. Not sure if that is a big ship now... there's no sizable port in St Bride's Bay

I'm at work so will provide a screen shot when i get home.

...and my coffee has gone cold!

[edit] Home again... it was a murky day for the GG car.

Well done. As you say, the coastal scenery narrowed it down a lot. I was heading up the peninsula from Marloes to Martin's Haven to get the boat to Skomer, which is the higher landmass in the distance.

Over to you!

Good point about the contrails - I hadn't even noticed them in the photo but they were very clear in the sky all week there, mainly transatlantic but with some north-south too.
St Brides Bay always has a few ships moored offshore, I assume as a sort of waiting area for Milford Haven.
