And yes, you are probably right that it is more about fisheye effect than heighht of camera.

Ordnance Survey showed a ford at this point until the first printing of the seventh series in 1948.

The white thing just beyond the bridge is notifying the world of a local event. Those details would help a lot as well.

I've practically spelt out the sign - the first two syllables anyway. What then?
