I need some light in my garage and I don't have a power supply to it, it's some distance from my house. I don't need mega light but enough to find things, do a bit of bike work over winter etc.

Any recommendations?:okay:

I have thought about one of these for my shed. With radio and MP3 player!

Battery operated PIR type light ? I have a couple of 'expensive' LED's at my caravan that are very bright, but a cheap £9.99 LED PIR light at the back of my garage - it's OK for finding your way, but you won't be working under the light - runs on AA's. The 'expensive' ones are far brighter (£30-£40 each), but run on C cells, and are much more useable.

Mr Beams on Amazon seem to be well reviewed.

A rechargeable (folding) LED work light is what you need.
Available in good tool shops or on line
The sort of thing used by plasterers and the like

I have a couple, one I keep in the car, they provide about 2-3 hours of very bright light before they need recharging.
Great to use on camp as well
