I'm trying to decide which of the above to get. I don't massively need turn by turn directions of my route (it would be nice but I can't afford an 810!), though it would be nice. Nor do I need HR just yet. Does anyone have any experience of the RFLKT and if it does any form of navigation depending on the app it works with, or of its usefulness with Strava? I use Strava currently and I know it doesn't do routes on iPhone yet so I would have to switch apps (and upload to Strava separately I guess) if I changed to another app. Also, is the 510 worth the step up apart from HR and cadence? I'm not sure what the other upgraded features are over a 200.

All roads lead to Garmin IME.

As for HR and cadence only you can really decide, but IME unless you are training to race both are just a novelty and therefore not worth the extra.

OK, looks like I'm becoming a Garmin user then :P Next bit is choosing which one I guess... 510 and 810 are definitely out of range but I'm wondering whether to go 200/500 or to pay the little extra and get the Touring (currently £170 for the "Special Edition" at Halfords) if I only need the normal speed/distance stuff - that way I've got proper navigation too should I need/fancy it for roaming around (since I never really plan rides!). Are there any downsides to the Touring besides lack of ANT+ that I wouldn't have on a 200/500? I'm guessing the ability to use gpx files and Garmin Connect remains the same.

So many to choose from... why can't I just win the lottery!
