One of the pins on the USB port of my Garmin has corroded and therefore I can't download any ride data via the USB cable. Any ideas if its possible to get the data off the Garmin's internal storage by any other means. If not it probably 800km of last week's Mallorca bike rides gone.

I have a memory card in my 810 and have the rides save to that, but you can connect it to the phone with bluetooth as well,

Absolutley no help at all, is there no way you could take it to a little phone repair shop and see if they can fix it ?

WD40, give it a good spray and plug it in a few times

I'll maybe try that as the Garmin 800 doesn't have bluetooth
