Garmin Connect Activities to Export to Strava

I stopped using my Garmin a few years ago due to the constant software issues prevalent on many cycling forums and switched over to Wahoo which has been an alltogether satisfactory change.

However I want to export all my historical rides from Garmin Connect to my Strava account. I have set up and ‘given permission’ in settings to allow the Strava link. However it doesn’t automatically update or sync the historical activities, not does there’s seem to be a way to do this.

Does anyone know how this is done? Many thanks.

I went the other way, binned Strava in favour of the stable Garmin. Anyway, I used https://tapiriik.com/ to port everything across. It worked just fine, but best to use a fairly beefy laptop or desktop rather than trying it on a phone. Good luck.

The GC/Strava sync is only for new rides.
