Garmin edge 800

Hi, i have a garmin edge 800 and was wondering if i could get a split screen as going on a sportive soon without sign post so need directions on my map which i can do,
but also need to keep a steady pace as leading the others riders and dont won't to be flicking from map screen to the other screen i.e. speed and avg speed,
is this possible to have speed and avg sped on the map screen, thanks bryan

You can have two data fields on the map screen, theres a garmin edge 800 guide on here somewhere as I can't remember offhand how to do it

If you load the course as a tcx onto the 800 when you approach a turn it will change from the data field screen to the map with directions of which way to go. Put speed/avg speed and any other data on the first screen.
