Good link cheers.

Should also add that DC Rainmaker has full in-depth reviews of all the Garmins. His website is HERE

I can connect my Edge 500 to my mobile now using an app called ST Uploader and a powered USB hub. Still a bit of a faff but saves carting the laptop around on weekend trips.

The article could have done with a table at the end, I'm pretty sure it's underplaying some of the things the various kit can do. I'm having a personal sweepstake on how long I hold out before I buy a 25 for my commuter...

Read it. If the 25 was under a ton I'd probably have one already. It's the price tag (and the fact I'd probably want an Ant+ cadence sender to go with it) that's putting me off. That and I don't actually need it, I just want one. Oh, and a slight mistrust of Garmin's ability to build reliable kit. I might wait until they've done some more stuff in that form factor before taking the plunge. I've mentioned elsewhere I'm a Garmin fanboi, but they have released some right toss over the last decade. Too tempted to shove in everything including the kitchen sink and ending up with a nice box and shoddy software controlling it.

17 hours battery life for the Touring Edge? Not a chance. Mine would struggle to do 7 hours.

I'm using it to take me from point a to point b. Last week in France it conked out every day before point b was ever reached. Luckily my friends both had other devices so we never got lost.

I had around 11 out of my Touring + on a Friday's run, but there was some being careful there, and I really needed 12.5 as it conked out during my improvised ride home route.
