garmin gps gadget

Hello all, I was wondering if any one has a garmin watch or computer they use to log there cycle routes and wanted to know what you have got and how you rate it. Thanks

I have a garmin edge 200, me and 2 others got it in a 3 for 2 deal @ halfords which is regularly on!

Have two. An edge800 that goes everywhere including on MTB and a Forerunner 110 which covers running duty.

Edge 800. More than I need so would have bought 500 in hindsight. Great kit and customer service.

Started with a Garmin Edge 200, then upgraded to a 500 when I needed cadence/HRM. Cracking bit of kit.

Edge 500 for me. I love it.

Garmin 800 for me, it does what it says on the tin so no complaints

800 and now another edge 500 for daily riding as the 800 is more suited to longer rides when GPS satnav type service needed.

I've got an 800. Only arrived yesterday, so not used. Bought for the routing

I use a Suunto Ambit watch (Similar to the Garmin Fenix) and an Edge 810

The big advantages of the 810 are the screens, the mapping, and sheer ease of use to navigate including post code searching

However the Ambit is far more portable, simpler for walking and day to day use and has bete batery life. However has no maps, and is more complex to use.

I tend to use the Ambit for day to day use andd geotagging photos
