Garmin segments missing

I rode with a friend recently and for the first time we compared Garmin results. After 70k or so on the N downs (Sutton, Dorking, Leatherhead area) I showed in 1 segment only. He showed more than 20. What am I doing wrong?

Sometimes it takes a while for the segments to register. Especialy if your not connected to wi fi and relying on mobile signal, Check it again later.

It happened to me yesterday, so I went to their support page giving them all the relevant info and they added the missing segment.

Thanks for the comments. It is now 4 days after the event and I am wifi connected so lag is not the issue here. I will try support page route but frankly i do not care that much given that Strava have a far larger database and in my opinion give a more realistic view of where I languish in the virtual peloton.
