Garmin users!

Hi all,

I guess some of you Garmin users out there will already be aware of this, but I happened to stumble across this short video the other day, which basically shows you how to load a personalised message to the start-up screen of your Garmin Edge 510 (and other Garmin models I'm presuming).

As suggested in the video, it is a good idea to perhaps put an owners name and contact details in, which will hopefully increase the chances of being reunited with your Garmin if you are ever unfortunate enough to lose it.

Not sure Tojo. Think it might be more likely on the models with TFT display. Does the 500 have a start-up screen or does it go straight to the display you see when in use cycling?
