Had a lovely ride yesterday on the Tour De Furness, along the Coast Road from Barrow then up round Coniston and back. It was one of those rare days when the lake was still and everything was perfect.
Looking back, I spent far too much time looking at my Garmin, rather than the stunning scenery...........

Is this a common affliction, and is there a cure - other than binning it?

Cake or ice cream? The choice is endless ...
Yes! Get a Wahoo and stare at that instead

Push the Garmin mount round your bars so it's upside-down - you'll know it's there, your ride will be on Strava so it did happen, but you'll have no idea about your speed/distance/average speed etc until afterwards and can enjoy the ride in the meantime!

If you are wanting to do scenery and can't ignore a computer on your bars either put it in your pocket or use your phone (in your pocket of course) instead

Look up occasionally
