I don't get why this judge was so sympathetic to this guy and says that then cyclist not wearing a helmet was a contributing factor.

Wether she was wearing a helmet or not is irrelevant in my opinion, this guy is obviously a danger to anyone when he is driving it just so happens that it was 2 cyclists and not pedestrians. If he had hit a pedestrian would they partly blame them for not wearing full body armour around this guy.

Most people go through life without killing anybody, this guy has taken 2 lives in the same way, if it were me I wouldn't want to drive again after killing someone let alone be so stupid as to do it again, he needs locking up nevermind a driving ban, he is a danger to the public.

This guy has history of murdering cyclists and yet he get a slap on the wrist for doing a second time.As for using the helmet argument for a contributing reason for this poor ladies death..RUBBISH ! I do not wear a helmet when i am out on the road,i'm not going to wear a helmet until they make it law for ALL road users to wear one.......peds.motorists ect This guy has no respect for cyclist and no doubt anyone else who dares to use the road whilst he is out driving and the judge needs a good wake up call on giving such a disgusting decision on someone who has ended an healthy cyclists life.
