On checking the paper work that came yesterday.Mrs Postman noticed we have a large amount of credit with both companies .

We are over paying on our standing order by a massive £61 per month .

Come next bill they are going to get a shock .When we tell them how much we shall pay .

A nice little earner for both companies i think .We will have that in our bank thank you very much .

Phone them and ask for the credit back. They have to give it back when requested. Then look at reducing your monthly payments in line with what you actually use.

When you get the money back, you could always put it towards a bike...

I phone them all up and barter down the monthly amount. Then when I am behind they rack it up a bit to catch up.

Npower just increased my DD to £90 a month with the leccy being £50 even though it's normally half the gas bill. I tried to get this corrected via the website and phone but they don't seem to be set up to deal with this type of query so I'm off to a new supplier.

I would wait until the end of the winter, say March, and then have a look at how much you are still in credit. you may have a big ish credit now, see what you have got at the end of the winter.
