

I first met the legend himself briefly on the GMC last year, and that was his first major ride post surgery, as he scalped me on the Mancunian Way
I then met him again when he bought a bike from me. So having met him and having 'spoken' to Gaz virtually numerous times too I can only confirm that he is a thoroughly nice and decent bloke.
I know why you had to go through this, and I sincerely hope that life has dealt you some better cards for 2013 pal.

I'm squeamish so I skipped the surgical bits of the programme. It's outrageous that the NHS would leave someone with that amount of loose skin to fend for themselves, especially after they got the weight off without surgery.
. I can see why the programme was needed and hope things are better now. The only real surprise was why you needed to go on TV to get an operation done that the NHS should have paid for.
