Wrong Gaz you plonker.

I first met the legend himself briefly on the GMC last year, and that was his first major ride post surgery, as he scalped me on the Mancunian Way ^_^

I then met him again when he bought a bike from me. So having met him and having 'spoken' to Gaz virtually numerous times too I can only confirm that he is a thoroughly nice and decent bloke.

I know why you had to go through this, and I sincerely hope that life has dealt you some better cards for 2013 pal.

All the best mucker

I'm squeamish so I skipped the surgical bits of the programme. It's outrageous that the NHS would leave someone with that amount of loose skin to fend for themselves, especially after they got the weight off without surgery.

A very wise decision. My wife questioned why I wanted to watch the program and I answered her from behind the settee.

Brave man :bravo: . I can see why the programme was needed and hope things are better now. The only real surprise was why you needed to go on TV to get an operation done that the NHS should have paid for.

BTW. Hardly looked 'cos I'm squeamish!

Well done Gaz. I really admire what you've achieved. Like others, I am disappointed you needed to go in this programme to get this treatment and I really think the NHS should be helping, particularly as they were prepared to pay for weight loss surgery in the first place.

I can never understand the workings of the nhs. They go on about healthy lifestyles and the cost blah blah blah. And here is a chap that should be used as an advertisement to what can be achieved, but then they do not keep their side of the bargain.I watched a prog about a ward or hospital in Sunderland where a guy was taken in for treatment. The special bed was hired by the hospital at something like £2000 per week, this fat git was stuffing his face with sweets off the trolley run by volunteers. What numpty thinks it's a good idea to shove a sweet trolley into a fat ward.Well this guy looking at camera denied eating.
Gaz you were brill, but heck it was graphic.Losing weight like you did you deserve a gold medal.I hope the op fulfills all your needs, and i wish you a brighter future.
