Hi folks, Dave from Sydney here, great to find this forum that I found listed in Bicycle Touring Blueprint by Darren Alff otherwise known as the Bicycle Touring Pro.

My main cycling interest is in BicycleTouring and at 57yrs old, feeling somewhat concerned if I've left it too late.
Its someting i've been interested in touring for over 12 years now, did a couple of group tours about 10 yrs ago but then life and work got in the way...so now I've just revisited the interest but alot can happen to a body in 10 years.
So in the meantime, I shall keep the pedals spinning and get this tired ol fat frame into some kind of fitness...but i'm determined that i want to do some cycle touring in Japan, my Wife's homeland.
