Out in 30 mins for a very careful test run with the new gear setup. Will still try and extract as much joy as possible, as at least 8 weeks will pass before I can do it again. Or get to fettling what's wrong. ..

Went well, new MTB rear mech and cassette worked perfectly with the Sora flight deck. Needs new front mech cable...and new tyres (28mm if they'll fit), a bell (have that ready to fit), and some lights.
But first, a new shoulder.

Best wishes for a speedy shoulder recovery and hope the 28c tyres fit. Made a big difference to comfort and no noticeable loss of speed for me (I am slow on any tyres tbh)
