Gentlemanly depilation - warning, may contain nuts

In a few days time I will be undergoing a surgical procedure specific to chaps. As part of the process I am expected to shave my nutbag. Naturally this is more than a little alarming, given the creases, folds and general squishyness so I was thinking of using a depilatory cream such as O-Zone. Has anyone tried it and does it work on knackersacks?

Try saving money and do a "home wax" using sellotape or elastoplast.

ps - one thread where there is absolutely NO NEED to post pictures!

I should think a steady hand with some scissors would be the best solution!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Are you talking about the depilation or the actual procedure?

Don't be so soft. Shave it like you'd shave your face. The scrotum's much tougher than you give it credit for and you'' certainly appreciate the, erm, "extra benefit" it gives you.

NHS cutbacks mean you have to shave yer own nuts these days, what is the world coming to:ohmy:?

I should think so and all. Why should some male nurse do your topiary when you should be doing it yourself and he's got a million other things to be getting on with on his understaffed ward? If you were having an operation on your face or neck, you wouldn't feel so anxious about shaving yourself would you, so why the mooseyness about polishing your knackers? Many men (and many cyclists do this routinely) trim or shave down there for all sorts of reasons so I fail to see why you'd expect someone else to do it.

Oh no, they'll do it for you. But do you want them to? And who says you'll get a male nurse?

Do you have Privates Medical Cover? You get to choose your 'trimmer' at BUPA hospitals (.. could be an urban myth).

Privates:biggrin: Nice one! But the "trimmer" thing isn't so much a myth as an absolute blinkin lie! And there's no such thing as BUPA hospitals anymore. (They changed their name to Spire some time ago!)
