Maybe this is a question to which I don't really want to know the answer, but the only way it could reduce wind resistance is if you cycle totally nude. Or is the weight of pubic hair considered significant for cyclists at the top end of the sport?

Do NOT use depilatory cream!!!!

Just dont even go there...you will sorely regret itxx(

Shave, with hair conditioner not shaving cream. Works a treat:biggrin:

Easy cheap way to do it. Get the hair wet, massage in some hair gel. Squat down on the floor trapping the hair under the soles of your feet.................

............then stand up quickly.

Whatever else you do, do NOT put depilatory cream on the area in question... I'm a LAY-dee and tried it on my legs once. Red weals, pain, blisters and itching. Used faithful wax / razors instead ever since.

I know everyone is different, but it isn't worth risking such an important part!

Best wishes for the surgery BTW.
