I think its all too quick for the woman to get out her car and chase after the cyclist...if you look closely she appears from across the road.

I can't see the woman parking, getting out the car, and chasing the cyclist within a space of 20 odd seconds?

A case for mulder and scully

The woman appears to come along George St from the west (??) before chasing the cyclist across the round about. As the cyclist is about to exit the roundabout you can hear the woman shouting "excuse me" and the cyclist stops, then rides off. Why??? This is just bizarre...

Got a reply, apparently the cyclist impacted the door and dented it.

I'm guessing the 4x4 was level or something, and then sped over the rbt, then stopped. There is plenty of time for a motorist to get out if the cyclist had stopped for other traffic.

Whatever happened, the cyclist rode away from the scene of an accident.

I've left the scene of an accident and ended up getting approval from the police.

A minor collision, around 5 years ago - the owner of the other vehicle appeared at my door behaving aggressively. I drove off, straight to the nearest police station. Gave them a statement regarding the whole incident and they were satisfied, as someone leaving their vehicle and behaving aggressively is regarded as road rage. Don't know if they ever followed-up that aspect, I didn't hear ant more about it.

I think that is fair enough, and I am making a huge leap in assuming that the guy in the video didn't go straight to the Police... but my gut feeling is that they didn't.

Was that actually a bike?

It sounded more like one of those kid's scooter things.

Why would you have a rear facing camera pointed at the footpath?

You may be correct mate. The video was a strange turn of events and the rider should really have explained it more.

He's saying that he rode off because she was aggressive, and he made a report to the police. She hasn't.

In which case I eat humble pie - I made a presumption and I was wrong. Sorry, fleeing guy.

My bad.

The camera is mounted to the frame so all you hear is the gear noise, it is amazing how much noise you get through the frame, mine sounds like this when mounted on the derailleur post on the trike.
