Tuilagi is England's 'crock' of Gold (and there the similarity comes to an abrupt halt...no, I'm wrong - they are both partial to a beer or two dozen.Oh. and 'fait divers')

Another of Crock's 'Cox and bull' posts.

Good morning readers. One day nearer the proper Big Match (let's not forget soccer, with England taking on Chile at Wembley. As I live not too far from there, I wondered about setting up a pop-up takeaway food stand with my friend, User. We would sell the perfect food and make our fortunes - literally. We'd serve chilli, when chilly, ere Chile.)
Another hot match will be Great Britain v France in the Rugby League World Cup Quarter Finals (mentioned in another thread). Also a superbly athletic sport involving totally committed men - try and watch (live is the best) if you can. Soccer players have grace and agility when running; these people have that - and immense strength too.
Come on - let's have some more comment and score predictions cf Chromatic's astute words: I'll get User a beer so he doesn't try and disrupt your trains of thought. (Or are your trains of thought subject to engineering work too?)
Hmmm...I like the idea of a pop-up stand selling chillie sauce. I was going to try Richmond Farmers Market as they are full of nouveau couples looking for what they think is modern exotic real food the best chillie sauce ever made.
Excellent post about the hipster tendency, User. You'll be telling me that they all wear Seal-Easy Skinny caps or whatever they do to push the envelope of cycling these days.
Now all of you speculating about 3,000,000 posts and all the insignificance that it brings, try and predict the score - tonight or tomorrow x 2, (I'm past caring.) Just don't try giving a reason for the England soccer team. The Rugby Football team yes, the Rugby League team - of course, but :stop:the brats.

Well, 'we' got Carter, but it was the best team that won. Quite a good game for the most part though...a little more unhurried play might have proved decisive for England, who absorbed pressure well, and responded. The N.Z. No 8 is one heck of a full back, inside centre, outside centre, support player...oh No 8 too.
I also watched the Irish succumb to the Australians and I think the All Blacks will be licking their lips for next week's match in Ireland!

Yes. the 'Cardiff French' whoops a daisy, the Wales XV need to tumble...

Yes, the best team won in the end, as always felt likely...but it's a helluva performance to come back from 3-17 to 22-20, even if temporarily. Bloodied, beat, but by no means humiliated. The boys done well. Roll on the 6 nations!
