So I've got myself a crosser and i've added some full length mudguards, however because i've added 25x700c tyres the distance between the guards and the wheel is a little too much.

I need some kind of plate that I can use to bolt onto the brake bridge and then bolt the guard bracket onto that.

Does anyone know where I could get such a fitting? Looked in b&q but I couldn't find anything suitable.

Hello gaz - I solved this by buying some slotted metal bracket things at B&Q, bending the bit of the mudguard bracket that goes upwards to the bridge through 90 deg so it's parallel to the guard, with a bolt through it first.

The B&Q bracket cut down to 1 hole on one side popped over the bolt, and the other side lined up then cut off at bridge hole height.

Finally the remaining bit of B&Q bracket fixed in place.

It worked for me on my last bike - hope it helps. That was when I changed from 27" to 700c rims.

Could do it with any old piece of metal and drill holes to suit.
